Leland Dieno, a seasoned marketing professional with over 20 years of experience, currently serves as the Director of Marketing & Digital Strategy at Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) in Surrey, BC. In this role, he leads a dynamic team, overseeing diverse functions, including creative design, advertising, web development, and CRM management.
Before joining KPU, he worked at Save-On-Foods | Overwaitea Food Group, where he rose from Digital Content Administrator to Digital Marketing Specialist, managing social media strategy and leading e-commerce launches.
Known for his entrepreneurial spirit, Leland has been a passionate side hustler throughout his career. Since 2004, Leland has passionately run his boutique Marketing Technology company, Dieno Digital Marketing, focusing on web design, development, hosting, and digital advertising. He is also the founder of No Deadbeat Society, an online brand that supports single fathers. Actively involved in community initiatives and nonprofits, including founding the Dieno Educare Foundation, Leland also serves as a Director for the British Columbia Coalition of Motorcyclists Foundation and volunteers his digital strategy expertise for various organizations.
